George Henry Bowland.

Private 39291, 1st Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment. Killed in action Tuesday, 14th November 1916 in France & Flanders. Age 19. Born and resident Sawtry, enlisted Huntingdon. Son of Frederick and Louisa Bowland, of Ivy Cottage, Sawtry, Peterborough. Formerly 1684, Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. Buried in Wagon Road Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel, Somme, France.   His grave is numbered A - 31.

ALSO OF CHARLES RICHARD BUTLER 1/5th ROYAL WARWICKS, WHO FELL IN FRANCE AUG. 19th 1916. AGED 24.
