William James Buckingham.
He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing on the Somme in France.

He was private no. 43048 1st Bn., Bedfordshire Regiment who was killed in action on Monday, 4th September 1916. Age 20, born in St. Neots, enlisted Huntingdon, resident Brampton. 

The son of George and Caroline Buckingham, of Park Farm Cottage. Brampton. Formerly 1069, Hunts Cyclist Battalion. 

Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 2 C.
