His parents were John
William journeyman/papermaker & Ester Alice [nee Hindle] and was born 25
Steel Street, Alveston, U.S.D. Lancs. on 21/8/1893. He lived at Rawcliffe
Bridge, Goole,
Yorkshire. He was killed in the 7th
Notts. & Derby Regt. on 21/3/1918. He is buried at Queant
Road Cemetery, Buissy, Pas de Calais, France. Many thanks to Tony Stubbs for going to the grave and taking the photo. |
