. C. S. M.  - V. Cramp - CRICKET LEAGUE - Notice - Under Battalion orders, issued by Lieut. Col. M. D. Barkley, Commanding Officer, 2/1st Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion issued at Beechlands, Skegness, on 2nd August 1918 at 5:00 p.m., and signed by W. J. Satchell (Captain and Adjutant), orders being for the following day i.e. 3rd August 1918, records indicate that he was one of the contingent of the 2/1st HCB & the 2/6th [Cyc] Battn. Suffolk Regiment joint Cricket Teams who were to play against a Skegness and District team. on Monday 5th August at 2-00pm.
