G. Edwards

Local newspaper entries indicate that by the 14/7/17 - Private G. Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edwards, of Star Lane, Ramsey, Hunts Cyclist, attached to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, is reported lying in Queen Mary's hospital, Whalley, Lancs., suffering with trench feet. He joined up in 1914, went to France in the July 1916, and has been serving in the trenches ever since. Of Mrs. Edward's family, three other sons are also serving, two in England and one at Salonica.
