Edward Earl -
Private number 43065 in the 1st Battalion the Bedfordshire
Regiment. He died of wounds on Tuesday 24th April 1917 whilst serving in
France & Flanders aged 32. He was born and resided in
Godmanchester but traveled to enlist at Huntingdon. He was the son
of Edward and Eliza Earl and the husband of Mabel Earl, of Chadleigh Lane,
Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire. He was formerly private 1184 in the
Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. He is buried in Barlin Communal
Cemetery Extension, Pas de Calais, France in
grave I. A. 59.

Earl - He was part of a contingent of 130 men of the Hunts. Reserve
Battalion who had volunteered for active service in December 1914. They left
from Huntingdon station in carriages attached to the 10:06 train.
