From a local paper = 1/12/16  = Private W. Faulkner, Cyclist Battalion, of Eynesbury, has been wounded by shrapnel in the left thigh.

From a local paper = 4/5/17 =  Private William Faulkner, Royal Berkshire Regiment, of Eynesbury, was on Monday reported to be very ill at a Casualty Clearing Station in France. His brother Private Sidney Faulkner, was killed last month.
