William Lincoln - Pte. 30218 in the 14th Royal Warwickshire Regiment he was born in St Ives, enlisted at Huntingdon in the Hunts. Cyclists Battalion as Pte. 1687. He was later killed in action on 3/9/1916 whilst serving in France aged 35. He was the son of William and Elizabeth Lincoln of St Ives. His name is inscribed on the Thiepval Memorial to the missing on the Somme on Pier & Face 9A, 9B & 10B.
