Charles Reeve.

. Charles enlisted in the HCB just before the 15/6/1915 when he is first recorded as being in their numbers with the rank of private.  He gave his address as Ermine Street, Huntingdon. 

Records also indicate that he served in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment where he was recorded as being wounded.  Records indicate that he had a facial wound and also suffered from shell shock.

From a local paper dated 15/9/1916  - Many Godmanchester Casualties. Pte. Charles Reeve, Cyclist Battalion, son of Mr. C. Reeve, Ermine Street Godmanchester, is in hospital in France suffering from gun-shot wounds in the foot but is reported as doing well.
