Walter Simpson.

He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing on the Somme in France.

In a local paper 16/9/1916  = Private Walter Simpson, Cyclists Corps, has been killed, a native of Stanground he was until a few months ago with Mr. A. Swallow, Hairdresser of Narrow Street, Peterborough, and much liked by clients.
