J.L. Stanley V.D., officer commanding 2/1st Huntingdonshire Cyclist
Battalion issued at The Vine Cottage, Chapel St. Leonards, Lincs. on 4th
June 1917 at 5-00pm., and signed by H.B. Moss Blundell, ( 2l/t and acting
Adjutant), orders being for the following day i.e. 5th June 1917 (Ref:
155), records indicate that he reported his arrival from the Command
School of Cookery, York on 2-6-1917, at the time he was a private in C
company.
